WE LOVE BUG EATERS!

The other night we were getting into the car to go out to eat and I very nearly stepped on a toad! Somehow it had hopped into my garage without me seeing it and was nearly squished! I am SO glad I didn't step on it. Gross. Anyway, we have seen quite a few toads this year, and Abrie thinks they are really neat. (Ok, she isn't the only one. I like any creature that eats bugs!)















A week later, a friend of ours invited us to his house for a fish fry. He lives on a farm and has quite a few animals. We always have such a great time when we go to his house! Anyway, this time there was another little girl there who found a gecko (or some other kind of small lizard) and somehow caught it. I am still in awe that she could catch the little thing because geckos are notoriously skittish. Anyway, she and Abrie took turns holding it. Abrie was fine until it took a few steps up her arm; then she wanted it off!
